While the stock are still being cleared, we have yet another 8800 GT .. err .. 9800G T, and this time it is from Galaxy. While the card runs at stock clock speeds, unlike other 9800 GTs out there, this one looks different with a different HSF and the XTreme Tuner utility that lets you stretch it to the limits.

While Galaxy is a big manufacturer and supplies cards to Europe and Asia, it distributes its cards in India via BIG Corporation. Enough idle talk, it is time to take a look at the card and find out whether it is only that look that is different or does it perform different from the others as well.

The box is not very attractive, as is usually the case with such cards. The logo artwork is barely visible, but you can see the specs of the card on the right. It is also written that there is a "Free gift inside" and we wonder what it could be. We opened the box to have a look inside.

It is quite odd that in these days of HD movies, and with HD displays fast gaining popularity, this card does neither feature an HDMI port, nor does it come with a DVI-to-HDMI dongle. Wake up Galaxy, this is 2008. Thankfully, they have taken care of backward compatibility by providing a DVI-to-VGA dongle to connect CRT monitors to the card. As the name of the product suggests, the bundle includes a CD of the Xtreme Tuner software to tweak the graphics card. Now for the "Free gift inside". Shall we talk about the pen in the bundle? Nah!
